Blindfold Challenge
To see or not to see. That is the question. At the Vision 5K, blindfolds are optional, but guts are mandatory.
How does it work? Taking the Blindfold Challenge could not be more simple: put on a blindfold, team up with a sighted guide, and run without the benefit of your sight.
What happens next? Well, that’s a lot more complicated. Choosing to run the Blindfold Challenge takes competition to a whole new level. Covering your eyes will uncover just how much guts and determination you have. It frees you not just to do things in a new way, but to accomplish things you never thought were possible at all.
By the time you cross the finish line, you’ll be a different person. You’ll understand what anyone with vision impairment already knows: that being blind won’t hold you back, that you don’t need your eyes to see what’s inside you—that, in the end, fear is the only disability.
Congratulations, you’ve overcome the challenge.
Take the Blindfold Challenge. See what you’re made of.
